Actor Christopher Lee recording heavy metal Christmas songs.

Actor Christopher Lee is a 92-year old headbanger and has been recording heavy metal Christmas songs for a few years now apparently. Who would’ve guessed?  I hope I’m still rocking when I’m in my 90s.

Mark Hamill reveals that droid in Star Wars trailer is a practical effect, NOT CG.

Very cool.  I’m not anti-CG in movies, but it needs to be done tastefully, unlike the Star Wars prequels.

“And when they were demonstrating how they did this thing, live on set — because it’s not CGI, that’s a live prop — I was just amazed. They let me play around with it. [Laughs] I was running it all around at the creature shop up in Pinewood. I’m telling you, it’s an absolute delight. And not having thought that I’d ever go back there, to go back into that world, is just – I get the chills. It’s just so much fun.”

George Lucas hasn’t seen the new Star Wars trailer.

When we further asked Lucas why he hasn’t seen the clip, he explained, “Because it’s not in the movie theater. I like going to the movies and watching the whole thing there.

“I plan to see it when it’s released.”

I’m not sure what to make of this.  Waiting to see it in the theater?  I’m wondering if Lucas is starting to get seller’s remorse.

Terminator Genisys trailer fails to impress.

The Terminator series will never regain it’s old mojo until James Camerson takes the reigns again. This trailer further reinforces that belief for me.  While I thought Terminator Salvation was a solid movie, Terminator 3 was awful and is easily the worst movie in the series so far.  Judging by this trailer, Genisys may be giving T3 a run for its money.

And oh yeah, it looks like we have yet another actor playing John Connor.  How many is that now? Four?  Five?

This series is a mess and Cameron’s the only guy that can save it.

Former Darth Vader actor David Prowse reveals he has dementia.

But says he would have loved a part in the new Star Wars films.

You can’t bring Vader back but a cameo would be cool I think. They should do it. Marvel does it every movie with Stan Lee so why not?

Actor David Prowse has revealed how he would love to have joined the original cast in the new Star Wars movie – but fears his dementia would let him down.

Talking about his health battle for the first time, the 79-year-old who played Darth Vader alongside Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher in the first three films, said: “Now I would probably forget my lines.

“But it wouldn’t have mattered what it was, I would have loved to have done something in it – even if it was just a cameo.”
